Love at First Bite! I offered to help my neighbor, Gary Stowell, re-assemble his big block following a cam and lifter change in preparation for the 2009 Super Cruz. He eventually asked me if I would like to go on the cruise and co-drive his Cobra. Flattered and very nervous, I said: You Bet! My 2009 Super Cruz experience put me beyond the point of no return. I was hooked. The SCOF people I met on that trip all welcomed me like I was an old hand and fellow member. The people on that trip made the driving experience. When I got home, I promised Sally I would sell my Harley, take all my vitamins and eat all my vegetables as long as I could buy a Superformance Cobra! After a year, I had done none of those things, but she got tired of listening to me talk about other people's Cobras! Oh, for crying out loud! Go buy a Cobra! Just remember, one of your vehicles goes outside. My car stays in the garage!!
