We moved into a new house and it had an attached garage. I just did not want an attached garage to look like a shop and instead wanted it to be more like a "living room with overhead doors". So this work in progress first began with lighting, lots of lighting. It's like looking into the very bowels of the sun when you flip the switch. Then I needed extra but tasteful parking, where a non-stationary 4 post lift does double duty as an extra parking spot when Superformance friends come over as well as a nice way to work under the car for maintenance, easy inspections and even stand up polishing of the wheels. There's nothing quite like walking from your den into your garage when you get the urge to tinker on the Superformance wearing just your underwear, while in the comfort of a decorated and cozy living room. It might be a simple pleasure, but one that is difficult to match, or explain.
